What should I do if my nozzle gets clogged?
Solution is very simple; you do not need to disassemble the extruder as is usual with other 3D printers. All you need to do is release two screws at the front of the extruder, remove the clogged hot-end, and replace it with a spare one. Your class is not ruined; it takes about one minute. The clogged nozzle can be cleaned when you have time to do it.
What is the size of filament spools that can be used with the JellyBOX, and what is the recommended filament brand?
The JellyBOX can use any size of filament spool up to a width of 100mm and an outside diameter of 300mm.
Any filament brand can be used as long as it is good quality and dry. A good, cost-effective option is our own IMADE3D Filament.
Which filaments can be used for printing?
The JellyBOX can print with any filament except ABS, which is not recommended for in-class printing.
The most typical filaments for school projects are PLA, PETG, and TPU (flexible).
